Service Projects

Service Projects

A healthy atmosphere exists for all students.  At all levels, non-discriminatory, appropriate student activities that supplement classroom experiences or community life are provided.

Our spiritual formation also extends to our spirit of service. Every month we sponsor and host a service project and a community outreach program from the 911 Memorial and Museum at the World Trade Center, Red, White and Blue Day, American Diabetes Foundation, McKenna Center, St. Ann’s Infant and Maternity Center Toy Drive, St. Charles Children’s Aid Society Book Collection, Oxon Hill Pantry,  HCA, Souls for Soles, St. Jude’s Math-a-thon, Pennies for Patients for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Program, World Food Day, and Little Sisters of the Poor among others.

We have at least one major service project every month.  We do a set of service projects for Advent and Lent.  We also participate in all of the service projects through Catholic Charities and the Archdiocese of Washington.
